My name is Drew and I am a creative editor. My professional career started in 2005 when the Jet's Pizza agency of record freelanced me to write/direct/edit an ice breaker video at a Jet's Pizza advertising budget meeting. The freelance gig landed me a writer position. After more than three years as a writer/creative editor, I suffered a spinal cord stroke and lost my job and the ability to walk. Local bands held a benefit show for me and gave me all the money raised. I decided to invest that money in myself. So with new production gear at hand, I got my hustle on and started PLEASE DON'T CHANGE. In 2011, Wayne State University brought me in as a creative editor and director for its in-house marketing department. Then in 2012, I shared a music video I shot and directed on Facebook that caught the creative eyes at Ron Rose Milagro. I spent almost two years working as one of two creative editors. I was also used for my production skills shooting/directing/writing/editing and any low-budget web videos and TV spots. Now I can run. info@DrewPodgorski.com
