Playful Engineers Information

Playful Engineers is the creative home of maker, musician, teaching artist, and engineering enthusiast Jay Mankita. Jay has worked with kids and families for over 30 years. Playful Engineers promotes play-based, self-directed learning in conjunction with guided, hands-on building sessions. Kids follow instructions to build specific components, and then combine and play with those parts following their own interest and creative will. Playful Engineers offers in-person and online sessions for schools, libraries, museums, home-schoolers - anywhere children or families gather to learn and play.
