Playdate Information

Playdate is a group of artists making sounds for pictures. We compose, craft, and curate music and sound for animation, motion design, documentary and commercial live action—providing expertise and audio post-production services from downbeat to delivery. We understand our clients’ creative and commercial goals, and love developing briefs into collaborative, world-class work. Playdate is born from the collaboration between Creative Director, Ryland Haggis, and award-winning animation studio, Giant Ant, where Ryland was responsible for over 300 projects as in-house composer/producer for music & sound.
