Playart was founded by Ben Whitehouse and Glen Perrott in March 2008. Glen is a director of H.R.H. Nurseries Ltd, a group of four settings in Cambridgeshire, and Ben is a graphic designer who happened to have two young children at one of Glen's nurseries. When she needed to brighten up the outdoor areas of her nurseries, in readiness for the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, Glen could not find weatherproof education aids suitable for early years settings so she enlisted Ben's help and, thus, Playart was born. 3mm foamex boards, completely weather-proof and wipe clean. Printed with UV cured inks, guaranteed for 12 months.
