PLATIO Information

PLATIO Solar is an unconventional, primarily outdoor energy-producing paving system, an alternative to usual pavements. Contrary to most of the nowadays applied pavements, PLATIO does not take material (such as stone, gravel, cement, or wood) and energy from nature to build the human environment, but uses the normally appearing garbage and energy. It is a double green building material as it is made of recycled plastic, which was designed to be able to integrate different types of environmentally friendly technologies, like solar panels and kinetic energy converters, which are capable of transforming the energy of human steps. Units are quite compact, there is no need to establish electrical wiring previously, as because units contain a powerline communication system, which connects automatically during the establishment, and after the completion of the electric circuit, units label themselves and create the wireless digital communication system that is able to optimize city infrastructures.
