Welcome to Platform Hire. Platform Hire Ltd specialises in the hire and sales of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPS) which include self propelled scissor and boom lifts (sometimes better known as Flying carpets and Cherry Pickers!) We have a wide range of aerial work platforms within our fleet including tracked and spider booms which are ideal for sites requiring specialised access equipment. Battery powered, diesel and bi fuel machines are available from platform heights of 19' to 110' and we aim to meet all of your requirements from those low level easy to reach jobs to those applications that require a higher elevation. As a Worcestershire based company we are well known in Birmingham, The Midlands and surrounding areas and we are ideally situated to cover areas further afield such as London, Manchester / Gloucester / Bristol and Wales. We have a dedicated and experienced team of staff who will be happy to assist you with your enquiries and provide you with solutions to your Access requirements and as a member of IPAF Rental+ and the CPA we can offer you a wealth of knowledge as our staff are trained to IPAF standards including delivery drivers trained to Demonstrator standard and Service Engineers who are CAP registered. IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) training is also provided at our depot in Droitwich where we can carry out Operator Training for Self propelled scissors, booms and static booms.
