Plastod can help you in all stages of product development: ideation, review, project planning. Plastod provides a turn-key service to Customers by appointing a dedicated Project Manager to pursue the dialogue between Customer’s entities and the internal project-team. In respect of project management principles, the PM involves all relevant functions needed and every activity belonging to R&D, scaling-up, industrialization, supply & logistic, QA & RA. New technologies and new solutions require an efficient organizational model oriented towards the highest quality and safety of products, in full compliance with environmental protection. Plastod’s Business Management System, which includes all phases of design, production and control of medical devices, is certified according to the international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 by a Notified Body accredited on a European scale and recognized internationally. At its headquarters in Calderara di Reno, Plastod operates through 50 production lines of advanced wound care products on over 9000sqm of floor space in its factories. Our production processes are applied to Converting and Coating activities and, thanks to the contribution of more than 100 production staff employees, have enabled the production of over 400 million pieces during 2022. Plastod has a century of experience in the process of converting raw materials into finished products, which has enabled the company to constantly expand the range of production processes and skills developed. Each process is carried out in-house at the historic headquarters in Via Masetti in Calderara di Reno - Bologna.
