Plastic Sort was born in 2010, around an innovative sorting polymers machine, entirely designed and produced by the founders. After winning numerous awards, amongst which Innovami Start-up e il Talento delle Idee (2010), the start-up initially evaluated the idea of selling the machine, but eventually decided to focus on the provision of sorting services within a wide range of sectors and industries. Today the company is focused mainly on three services: • Sorting for third parties, waste and industrial scraps as well as virgin granes (e.g. PET, PS, ABS, PA, PU, etc.) • Helping and supporting companies to implement new solution for the end-life of their products • Buying, sorting and selling polymers
