The Association of Planning Professionals for Social Welfare Works (PLANWEL), an independent, ICT based not for profit organization was established in 1990 by a group of technocrats, educationist and professionals. We have been actively engaged in researching, advocating, programming and recommending innovative information and communication technology enabled initiatives. One of our objectives is to provide a uniform, affordable and quality education, research and development facilities globally to the masses. PLANWEL is the oldest Computer based testing site in Pakistan and is a partner of Prometric, USA, the largest network of secured computer based testing centers in the world. As an ICT training and testing organization has imparted capacity training program to thousands of youths -males and females of the community and conducted certification tests for the vendor exams including Microsoft, IBM, H.P, LINUX thorough the Prometric testing services and Cisco and Citrix Certifications through Pearson VUE. Trainees in English language and ToEFL, iBT are administered on line tests at our Educational Testing Service, laboratory. On the average over 300 students are enrolled at our site for IT courses, English language courses, females employment generation courses for home based income generation activities e.g. Cutting and Stitching, pottery making. We are also partners with CollegeBoard and are now offering SAT. GMAT is also in the pipeline.
