PlantTAGG Information

PlantTAGG is a unique artificial intelligence-driven plant care platform that helps residential gardeners achieve higher levels of success with plant ownership. Easy for gardeners to setup and use, no mobile app to download, and there is no cost to gardener. PlantTAGG is rich with data licensed from the USDA, TX A&M, NOAA and enriched by a team of horticulture academics, experts & enthusiasts that helped us fill in the gaps. PlantTAGG automatically builds care tasks for each plant based on where the gardener’s yard is. The system can shape recommendations based on plant type, sunlight, water, soil, pH and growth rate. PlantTAGG notifies gardeners via text message when there are care tasks to perform, and alerts gardeners to unexpected threats such as freeze, drought and pests. PlantTAGG is offered through independent garden centers (IGCs) and botanical gardens which become sponsors and “own” a geo-fence around each of their locations. When a gardener uses PlantTAGG inside of a geo fence, the sponsor’s branding is presented including a link to their website. Our integrated ‘Ask an Expert’ feature gives IGCs the ability to assist local gardeners with unexpected problems which will drive more store visits and increase purchases through brand loyalty.
