Plantic Technologies, a Kuraray group company since 2015, manufactures high-barrier bioplastic resins and films for food, industrial and pharmaceutical packaging. Our proprietary corn-based polymer is designed to extend shelf life, reduce food waste and lower the carbon footprint of packaging structures. Unlike conventional bioplastics whose polymers are produced in petrochemical refineries, Plantic’s polymer is grown in the field from non-GMO corn.
