Company History Plano Data was organized as a Texas corporation in early 1995 in response to a need by the oil industry for experienced technical data management services. Jim McCullor and Bill Smith co-founded the company and on July 1, 1995, were awarded a long term contract from a major oil company. Other exploration and production clients were soon included in the client base. In addition, records management services to the health care industry were added to promote corporate stability through diversification. Additional support functions such as document imaging were developed in order to become a more complete data management service. In response to growth and an accompanying need for additional space, Plano Data moved to a spacious new facility in June 2004 built to company specifications and requirements. Mission Provide quality, cost effective records and data management services with an emphasis on practical, cost effective solutions. Maintain a keen respect for data confidentiality and integrity. Consider each client to be of equal value. Form alliances and partnerships as necessary to offer complete data management packages.
