Eco-Genesis Corporation is a locally owned and operated environmental consulting firm based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. We have been in business and a member of the local community for over 25 years, and have a small but quality team of environmental professionals. We build long-term client relationships and look to do multiple projects with clients as repeat business. With one of our long-term clients, we have successfully completed over 1,600 projects. We have the resources to get each project done right the first time, on time. We provide environmental consulting services to support the management of contaminated buildings and sites. Our services can range widely in complexity and scope, from a single test to comprehensive evaluation of a large multi-building complex, depending on the specific site challenge being addressed. For each project we undertake, we gather information, work with the client to set project objectives, define regulatory implications, and develop a conceptual model for the work. Communication, technical competence, and integrity of service are the keys to our firm’s success. At EGC, project management related to contaminated buildings and sites is our specialty. We possess unparalleled expertise with building materials that we carry through our building services. We also possess a unique expertise and working understanding of regulatory requirements that we bring in to bear on our site services, as well as our building services. We perform competent assessments and prepare complete remedial design packages. We oversee the work to completion, representing our clients through the construction phase with proper observation, tracking, and recording. On every project, whether preparing for demolition or renovation, environmental cleanup, a real estate transaction, compliance, or a Brownfields tax credit, we focus on managing risk and protecting and representing our clients’ interests. We develop project-specific, innovative, and cost-effective solutions with client interests in mind.

EcoVantage Reprographics was established in 1994 as a response to the needs of Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Subcontractors faced with paying for vellums and sepias demanded by the age-old diazo process. In addition, there was a very real concern about having to take the used prints following a bid or a job and landfills. Currently, Blurprints are not economically recycleable. Service was another concern. Most jobs were not run the same day, but many blueprint vendors required a two-day turn around. The technology existed to use bond-printing (which requires no transparent media), and recyled papers, but no local blueprinters at the time were willing to use it. Also, with bond-printing a same day turn around on most job was highly feasible. EcoVantage Reprographics was established in response to those concerns. It grew rapidly to eventually hold a major market share in the Long Beach/Signal Hill area.
