Planet Netball Information

In May 2011 Planet Netball was launched as the first, independent, digital hub for elite netball news.  It became a go-to site for international coaches, players and fans to access stats and news, and amassed over 40,000 unique monthly views. Planet Netball was ahead of its time in digital engagement, with all-out editorial, and gamified content.  Covering a World Cup in 2011, a World Youth Cup in 2013, a Commonwealth Games in 2014 and multiple international test series from Cardiff to the Cook Islands, those years were thrilling, but even with the full moral support of the top two National Governing Bodies and many others giving us player and coach access, it struggled to be a stand alone commercial entity. The decision was made to take stock, gain experience in other sports and business, and return with a fitter plan. We are here today to lift netball to being world-class in every aspect: a professional, high-octane product for brands, media, fans and all those who are a part of it.
