Founded in 2002, we're Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest sustainable business organisation. We’re a membership-based, not-for-profit social enterprise. As well as with individuals, we work with organisations of all sizes and sectors. We facilitate collaboration, share knowledge and provide practical support. We also advocate for sustainability and run Aotearoa New Zealand’s only Sustainable Business Awards. We have a special focus on Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), which represent 97% of Kiwi firms. At the heart of our network are the more than 400 organisations and individuals that regularly support and work with us as Impact Investors. Thousands of Kiwi organisations and individuals partner and learn with us every year.

Since 1987, we have helped businesses, communities and governments to deliver sustainable, clean, safe and prosperous destinations for travellers to visit, live, work and play. EarthCheck helps tourism businesses and destinations become more sustainable through certification, consulting, training and software solutions. EarthCheck’s certification programs are respected by travellers, brands and destinations globally, and help consumers make informed decisions about the tourism experiences they choose. When a travel business displays an EarthCheck certification badge, you’ll know they have been through a rigorous science-backed, people-focused sustainability certification process. It gives them the tools they need to measure their impact, and to make business decisions that save money, resources and the planet.

GoodTeam was a boutique strategy advisory firm, delivering outcomes for profit, people and planet. It was founded in 2009 and was operational until 2020. The GoodTeam partnership operated internationally and serviced a selective client base from Auckland, NZ. The firm delivered custom, executable strategy to clients, including impact investment and hybrid strategy development which encompasses a multiple bottom line. Consequently GoodTeam functional expertise was broad and leveraged the talents and skills of a proprietary network of high-performing associates who bring domain expertise to any given challenge. GoodTeam also provided dedicated execution support to all clients to ensure that strategic outcomes were realised. Each client shared the imperatives of mitigating carbon/GHG emissions and/or creating positive social impact. GoodTeam ceased operations in March 2020.
