Plain Vanilla is an independent bakery from Singapore, founded in 2011 to share the simple contentment of a good old-fashioned cake with others. More than a decade on, we’ve grown from a modest cupcake shop into a collection of café bakeries across six neighbourhoods — second homes where people gather over freshly baked goods, nourishing brunch plates, specialty coffee, and a seasonal selection of gifts and wares. Our focus remains unchanged: to serve honest food and drink with care and consistency, to honour the classic and nostalgic using the best ingredients we can find, and to celebrate life’s simple pleasures. While we’re proud to be known for some of the city’s best-loved celebration bakes, Plain Vanilla has always stood for more than food and drink alone. We work at the intersection of food, hospitality, and lifestyle — creating spaces and experiences that bring comfort, pause, and human connection: quiet foundations, we believe, for a life well lived.
