Founded in 2011, Pixwoo is an international social network for video game fans. Pixwoo connects players with each other and industry members - including publishers and developers - in order to express and share their passion for games. Launched as a beta version in 2011 in France and England, Pixwoo will officially launch in mid 2012, expanding to the United States, followed by launches in Germany, Japan and Korea. As of January 2012, Pixwoo is home to more than 8,000 members, 2,500 games pages and 300 groups. Based in Paris, the site was the brainchild of CEO Pascal Vielhescaze - an experienced communications and digital specialist - and the team at Spiderdreams, a French digital lifestyle agency.
