Play, Learn, and Earn. Pixlwise Inc. is a software development studio in San Diego, California focused on bridging the Skills Gap. Rather than a traditional education + gamification approach (series of videos + badges), the Pixlwise cloud based engine delivers videogames that teach adults real world skills – skills that earn them an income. Pixlwise customers can begin a game on their tablet, continue learning on the desktop, and monitor progress on their mobile phone. Support is provided in game by a variety of avatars and a robust forum experience developed from the ground up. Pixlwise does not measure success by counting the number of videos users passively digest. With Pixlwise’s proprietary analytics dashboard, tracking user success both on the macro and micro (mini-games) levels, success is measured by a customer’s ability to learn a new skill and make a living.
