Pixelatl Information

Pixelatl is more than an annual event. Pixelatl has become the main international gathering of the art and business of the animation, comic, and video game industries, connecting Mexican talent with the world. Pixelatl holds annual calls and contests for animation series aspiring creators, shorts, comic artists and video game developers. The finalists have the opportunity to pitch at the festival their ideas to networks executives, editors, and mentors. Our milestones and events include: * Pixelatl International Festival, founded 2012 * Ideatoon Summit, to pitch show to top network execs * Ideatoon Bootcamp, for developing animation series * Published 16 comic authors and put 16,000 indie comic books in circulation * Booth at Annecy MIFA for Mexican studios since 2013 * World premiere of "The Son of Jaguar" by Jorge Gutierrez; Michuru Yamane's Bloodstained, Castlevania OST concert and David Wise solo concert. * 3 shows in production by major networks as a result of the Ideatoon Summit * Over 10 animation film premieres for Mexico * 4 option deals and over 10 service contracts, between Mexican studios and international partners * Tertulias by Pixelatl, networking event for the industry * Workshops for script writing, video game development, show development; by international instructors
