The Antinori family has been committed to the art of winemaking for over six centuries since 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member, of the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri”, the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild. All throughout its history, twenty-six generations long, the Antinori family has managed the business directly making innovative and sometimes bold decisions while upholding the utmost respect for traditions and the environment.

La sua storia inizia alla fine del XVIII secolo, quando la famiglia Boscaini acquista pregiati vigneti nella piccola valle denominata “Vaio dei Masi”, nel cuore della Valpolicella Classica. Da oltre quarant’anni ha avviato un ambizioso progetto di valorizzazione di storiche tenute vitivinicole, collaborando con i Conti Serego Alighieri in Valpolicella, discendenti del poeta Dante, e con i Conti Bossi Fedrigotti, prestigiosa griffe trentina con vigneti in Rovereto. Masi possiede inoltre le tenute a conduzione biologica Poderi del Bello Ovile in Toscana e Masi Tupungato in Argentina. Ha un’expertise riconosciuta nella tecnica dell’Appassimento, utilizzata sin dai tempi dagli antichi Romani per concentrare colori, zuccheri e aromi nei vini. Questo metodo è stato innovato dal Gruppo Tecnico Masi per produrre la più ampia e qualificata gamma di Amaroni, Recioti e interpretazioni originali come il Campofiorin. Masi is a leading producer of Amarone and has always interpreted the values of the Triveneto with passion. Its history begins at the end of the eighteenth century, when the Boscaini family acquired fine vineyards in a small valley called “Vaio dei Masi”, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica. Over forty years ago they started an ambitious project to exploit historic wine estates, collaborating with the Counts Serego Alighieri in Valpolicella and with the Counts Bossi Fedrigotti, a prestigious brand from Trentino in Rovereto. Masi also owns organic vineyards Poderi del Bello Ovile in Tuscany and Masi Tupungato in Argentina. It can boast an unquestionable expertise in the Appassimento technique, used since the ancient Romans times to concentrate colours, sugars and flavours in wines. This method has been innovated by the Masi Technical Group to produce the broadest and most qualified range of Amaroni, Recioti and original interpretations such as Campofiorin.

Since its foundation back in 1986, Feudi di San Gregorio winery has been enhancing the value of indigenous Campania grape varieties: Greco, Fiano and Aglianico. The winery has studied and researched its terroir, Irpinia – the central part of Campania, which is historically well-suited to growing vines of the highest quality. Today, Feudi works over 300 hectares of vineyards fragmented in over 800 plots which differ in altitude, exposure and slope. Each parcel is specifically studied and vinified to magnify Irpinia diversity potential and allow the creation of its extraordinary crus. With over 30 million euros in turnover, very solid brand awareness and export to more than 50 countries around the globe, Feudi is the leading winery in southern Italy. The experience has prompted the Capaldo family to explore the wine potential of other regions of Italy too, as part of the “Tenute Capaldo” project which encompasses a series of wineries with the same founding values of long-term vision, a local approach, and a client-centric culture. The Group spans the following territories: DUBL – a classic method sparkling wine from Campania; Campo alle Comete – a bulwark of Tuscany from Bolgheri; Basilisco – an organic winery in the Vulture area (Basilicata). All of these wineries share the same values of making fine wines as a product of their local terroir. Feudi is much more than just a winery: it is a venue for meeting and being together, a laboratory for ideas, art and culture. Feudi’s penchant for art and design, thanks to the fruitful collaboration with great Italian masters, has always been distinctive. On May 2021, Feudi di San Gregorio changed its legal status into a Benefit Company with the ultimate aim of safeguarding and promoting the natural environment, and the social and cultural heritage of the Irpinian territory and its community. In August 2021 it has obtained the Equalitas Corporate certification and from June 2022 is part of the B Corp Community.
