PITA stands at the very forefront, representing the vibrant, innovative, and resilient tech community of Palestine. As a dynamic umbrella organisation, PITA serves as a unified voice (and information hub) for ICT companies, tech startups, and tech talent, by championing public policy and international advocacy. Committed to building a globally aligned and competitive ICT sector, PITA offers a range of resources including mentoring, upskilling programmes, and funding, focusing on market access and exposure. As a representative of the sector, we aim to build, develop, and nurture a progressive ICT infrastructure in Palestine. PITA is highly devoted to the ICT innovation in terms of fundraising, advocacy, and global outreach. The association was founded by a group of IT entrepreneurs in 1999 at the city of Ramallah. The vision these entrepreneurs have embraced for so many years is creating a non-profit organisation that fulfills the needs of the sector and advance the interests of its companies. PITA is gladly standing on its main pillars of sector branding, capacity building of the association, human capital productivity enhancement, enterprise and start-up development, and Palestinian Diaspora engagement. A new generation of Palestinian forward thinking entrepreneurs is being created to enforce profound change to the technology landscape and relish the opportunity of meeting ICT global standards.
