Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands (TU Delft) is a modern university with a rich tradition. KCAP is a globally renowned design firm, whose work is acclaimed for intertwining the disciplines of architecture, urbanism and landscape. Established in 1989 by Kees Christiaanse, and now under the leadership of seven distinguished partners; KCAP creates human-centred urban environments that anticipate the future. The design process is driven by a multi-disciplinary approach, addressing intricate metropolitan challenges facing the world's cities; evident from the rich history of place-making master planning, waterfront redevelopment, housing, educational, mixed-use, and transportation projects. From revitalising former industrial zones to crafting new urban hubs, KCAP's portfolio encases a range of projects that have reshaped the world's urban landscapes. The collaborative creation ethos ensures engagement with a broad spectrum of stakeholders–from local communities to policymakers—which guarantees that the metropolitan projects of KCAP, resonate with the people they’ve been designed for. Globally Active Offices KCAP has offices in Rotterdam, Zürich, Shanghai and Paris.
