Con una tradición cervecera desde 1850, CCU es una sociedad anónima abierta, cuyas acciones son transadas en los mercados bursátiles de Chile y en la Bolsa de Valores de Nueva York. Sus principales accionistas son Quiñenco S.A., holding de la familia Luksic, y Heineken, quienes, a través de Inversiones y Rentas S. A., poseen el 60% de la propiedad de la Compañía. El resto de las acciones están divididas entre ADR’s y otros accionistas minoritarios. Con operaciones en Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia y Colombia, CCU participa en los negocios de cervezas, pisco, ron, vino, sidra, gaseosas, néctares, aguas envasadas, bebidas funcionales y confites.
