In de bioscopen van Pathé worden elke dag de meest succesvolle en geliefde verhalen ter wereld verteld. Ons eigen verhaal? Dat draait om één ding: de beleving van onze bezoekers. Voor ons spelen zij immers de hoofdrol. Ons verhaal start in 1896. De vier gebroeders Pathé sleutelen met nieuwe techniek, om 10 jaar later de eerste bioscoop te openen: Omnia Pathé. Bezoekers staan in de rij om het wonder van bewegend beeld zélf te ervaren bij Pathé. En dat kan in de jaren daarna op steeds meer plaatsen. Sinds 1995 in Nederland, maar Pathé is er in veel meer landen, van België en Zwitserland tot Tunesië en Senegal. In de jaren daarna introduceert Pathé een reeks aan innovaties. Van kleur en geluid tot 3D, IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Cinema en ScreenX. Daarbij wordt onze hoofdrolspeler, de bezoeker, altijd gastvrij ontvangen en beleeft die geweldige ervaringen bij Pathé. Het levert ons een unieke emotionele band op met onze bezoekers. En door de jaren heen bieden wij steeds meer variatie in beleving. Van Ladies Night tot opera en balletvoorstellingen, tot concertregistraties en sportevenementen op het grote scherm. Ook in het heden staan er dagelijks bezoekers blij in de rij bij Pathé. Om de nieuwste blockbuster te beleven in de scherpste beeld- en audiokwaliteit en bewegende 4DX stoelen. Of heerlijk onderuit te zitten in de Relax Seats of luxe fauteuils van onze boutique bioscopen. Met de lekkerste bioscoopsnacks, zoals verse popcorn, warme nachos of vers fruit. Vandaag staat Pathé voor méér dan bioscopen: we bieden bovenal beleving. Samen met Pathé beleven mensen uitjes en feestdagen en ontsnappen ze even aan het dagelijks leven. In één van onze ruim 250 Nederlandse filmzalen of thuis. Want in 2011 liepen we alweer voorop, door van elke kamer een filmzaal te maken. Met Pathé Thuis: zonder abonnement, mét de nieuwste films.

Eye is the film museum in Amsterdam. It is dedicated to developing a vigorous film culture in the Netherlands. Eye has an extensive and internationally renowned collection. Its programmes, events and services are geared toward the general public as well as specialised groups, and draw upon its unique collection. Eye is respected worldwide for its restoration and research expertise, as well as its significant experience in the areas of education and international promotion and marketing of Dutch films (Eye International). Eye encourages debate and reflection about the role of film and media in society today. It also helps shape film and media policy on a national level. Eye Filmmuseum was founded on 1 January 2010 by merging four important film organisations: Holland Film, the Nederlands Instituut voor Filmeducatie, the Filmbank and the Filmmuseum. Since April 2012, Eye is located in its new building: an architectural landmark in Amsterdam on the banks of the river IJ, behind Central Station.

De Balie is a political, cultural, theatre- and debate centre with a grand café-restaurant situated at the heart of Amsterdam at the Leidseplein. According to The Economist: "De Balie, a cosily chic cultural venue on Amsterdam’s Leidseplein, is the epicentre of Dutch liberal intellectual life." De Balie specialises in a number of territories: art, society, politics, media and cinema, and regularly organises thought-provoking programs. These programs consistently bear the mark of a sharp and deeply analytical character; De Balie leaves no questions of social relevance unasked. Through talkshows, lively discussions, elaborate debates, theatre and cinema De Balie mixes several points of view in a wayward and creative fashion. De Balie Grand Café is open 7 days a week, and serves everything, from a solid cup of coffee to an extensive diner.
