Pinpoint PT creates experiential learning tools specifically for PT education. Who we work with: - DPT students at over 130 universities across the nation. - ACCE's/DCE”s (Clinical Education faculty) at DPT programs - Clinicians associated with the APTA Private Practice and Education Section and the APA (Australia) After interviewing educators and clinicians on how to best prepare students for the clinic, the most common theme was, “the development of clinical reasoning skills”. The best way to develop those skills is in the clinic, not necessarily the classroom. But, by creating clinic-type experiences in the classroom (even at year 1), a student is better prepared for their internship and eventually their new career. To see if students agreed, we surveyed DPT students at every university in the US. The results confirmed that experiential learning tools is what they want. In fact, 85% wanted to sign up for a tool that gave them an “experiential learning” process. Pinpoint PT is a real-time reference tool for physical therapy and is the result of our exhaustive research. Students refer to our web application as the "digital encyclopedia of special tests". => How can DPT students be best prepared for the clinic they will enter upon graduation? <= The PT community is convinced that PinPoint PT is the ideal first step.
