PINO & ASSOCIATES, LLP is dedicated to defending product liability claims and lawsuits that can severely damage the reputation and financial well-being of product manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. We have significant experience defending clients against personal injury and property damage claims allegedly resulting from design, warning, and/or manufacturing defects. We have defended manufacturers and sellers of numerous types of products, including helicopters, airplanes, amusement rides, bicycles, power tools, household appliances, printing presses, firearms, medical equipment, and other industrial/construction machinery. Our clients include national and international manufacturers, which are insured or self-insured. We represent clients, not only in New York, but also in a number of other jurisdictions and have served as Regional and National Counsel for several clients. Our attorneys keep abreast of industry developments and work in partnership with clients to develop risk-minimizing protocols. We regularly provide advice to clients concerning product liability related issues, including interaction with regulatory government entities such as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). A number of our partners have lectured on product liability litigation locally, nationally, and internationally.
