Pink Boots Society Information

2017 is our 10th Anniversary! Our Mission: The Pink Boots Society was created to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education. Created in 2007, Pink Boots Society is an international nonprofit created to assist women in the beer industry with career advancement and professional skills development. Through scholarships, educational opportunities, mentoring and networking – from brewers to beer writers, lab technicians to graphic artists – Pink Boots Society exists to support every female professional in the brewing industry. This is a milestone year for the Pink Boots Society! Recently we were granted a proclamation from the Mayor of San Diego declaring June 3 "Pink Boots Society Day" in San Diego, California for our economic impact and contributions to the education of women in the beer industry. We're celebrating our tenth birthday and looking back on a decade of advocacy, education and empowerment activities for women in the beer and brewing industry. We're also hosting an industry first - an all-female speaker, moderator, and presenter lineup at our conference and celebration festival June 2 & 3, 2017. Since our non-profit status was granted in 2013, the Pink Boots Society has granted more than 50 scholarships in addition to internships, job opportunities, educational programs, and support to our members in over 50 chapters in 10 countries across the globe.
