Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977, Timberline Lodge is one of Oregon’s most popular tourist attractions, drawing nearly two million visitors every year. Considered an architectural wonder, it’s still being used for its original intent—a magnificent ski lodge and mountain retreat for all to enjoy. Timberline offers the longest ski season in North America. The winter season typically begins early to mid-November and continues through Memorial Day. Our Palmer Express high-speed quad lift allows us to operate later into the summer season than anyone else (usually June 1st through Labor Day). Many years, we’re open for fall skiing as well.
Create a lifetime of memories at the original Grand View Lodge®, a National Historic Landmark founded in 1916 on the beautiful shores of Gull Lake in Northern Minnesota. Combining a century of tradition with modern resort amenities, Grand View offers deluxe accommodations, exceptional dining, and full-service experiences for families, couples, groups, and corporate guests.
Our 2,500 feet of shoreline, activities for all ages, and warm Midwestern hospitality make Grand View a four-season destination for social and business gatherings. Guests enjoy an award-winning golf lineup with 54 holes of championship golf at The Pines and The Preserve, consistently recognized among the top golf resorts and best courses you can play in Minnesota.
Wellness and relaxation are part of the experience, too. Nestled among the pines, The Spa at Grand View (home of the renowned Glacial Waters heritage) offers massages, body treatments, hydrotherapies, facials, and salon services in a soothing lakeside setting. Paired with our Headwaters Wine Cellar and full-service event and conference facilities, Grand View Lodge delivers elevated, memorable stays for vacations, weddings, and meetings alike.
