Pinball Films Information

Pinball Films Ltd was founded in 1999 by Ashley Horner (ACE graduate 2010) with the aim to create distinctive and original cinema in the European tradition. Since 2001 Pinball has developed and creatively produced seventeen short films for the UK Film Council that have appeared at over 100 film festivals worldwide, won numerous awards and sold in the UK and US. Pinballs latest feature directed by Ashley Horner from a screenplay by Sean Conway ‘BRILLIANTLOVE’ (aka The Orgasm Diaries USA) had a strong festival life, premiering in the prestigious Discovery section at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York before going on to compete for awards at festivals around the world including Edinburgh International, HOF, Cucalorus, Calgary, Philadelphia, Gijon, Sao Paolo, Athens, India, Buenos Aires and many more and was also nominated for the Raindance Best British Film at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA’s) 2010. ‘BRILLIANTLOVE’ was released theatrically and on VOD in North America by IFC in November followed shortly after by a UK theatrical release through Soda Picture. The film is available on DVD in the UK and in North America and will receive further theatrical distribution in 2011 by IFC. The six other features on Pinball Films slate include Sean Conways feature debut 'WHORSES', 'THE CONUNDRUM' by Martin Radich (Post Production), Martins next film ‘DANDELION’, Tom Llloyd’s ‘THE CLOUDBUSTER’, Ashley Horner's 'STRASBORG', and Sean’s second feature ‘DOG, KNIFE, WIFE’.
