Pier Five is a media platform and community built for aspiring entrepreneurs, established founders, creatives and small business owners who are building businesses, shaping communities and contributing to culture. Through original content, founder storytelling, educational programming, curated events and funding initiatives, Pier Five connects ambitious people with the ideas, relationships and resources that can help them grow. Since launching in 2020, Pier Five has brought together thousands of entrepreneurs through workshops, community dinners, athletic experiences, networking programs and business events. We have also distributed more than $275,000 CAD in non-dilutive funding to founders, helping emerging businesses turn ideas into sustainable companies. Our work sits at the intersection of entrepreneurship, creativity and culture. We create practical and engaging programming that makes building a business feel less isolating, more accessible and more connected. Pier Five has collaborated with leading brands including Mastercard, HP and FreshBooks to create content and experiences that deliver meaningful value to entrepreneurs while helping partners build authentic relationships with the founder community.
