PIE Operating, LLC is a privately held, independent oil and gas exploration and production company based in Texas. Phil Mulacek founded the company, which owns and operates wells in Texas and Louisiana, with a core focus on the Permian Basin and Austin Chalk. Our approach brings geology, geophysics, engineering, land, commercial evaluation, drilling and field operations together under one roof. Keeping these disciplines connected lets us assess each opportunity with a clear view of both its subsurface potential and the practical realities of operating it. We work across the full life of an asset, from evaluating and developing new prospects, through drilling and field execution, to managing production over the long term.
