Phorest Diagnostics is a spin-out company from the University of York, founded by Professors Thomas Krauss and Steven Johnson, based on a decade of research into novel optical sensor technologies. Underpinned by a patent portfolio, our early warning system uses cutting-edge optical sensors to detect the very early stages of microbial biofilms that form in storage tanks, transport vessels and manufacturing plants, before they enter the production line.
