An online publication covering various art, culture, and music events, primarily in Kansas City, but also throughout other parts of the United States and beyond. Originally launched 08.24.00, the site started off as a project site and testing ground for various internet-related concepts, as well as a portal to work with web design projects, and other internet concepts. One project dominated the space from 2001 through 2009, transforming it into an online media source documenting the electronic dance music culture of that time. As one of the largest collections of pre-Social Media photos, with more than 100,000 photographs representing that era, it encompasses the people, the DJs, and the performers in and around Kansas City, as well as other locations from Miami to San Francisco, Minneapolis to New Orleans, points in between, and even a few points beyond. Since that time, the publication has expanded scope to include all sorts of art, cultural, and music events, and continues to accept independent contributions from various sources.
