The Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA) is the national association of 121 electric cooperatives throughout the entire Philippine archipelago. Previously named the Federation of Electric Cooperatives of the Philippines (FECOPHIL), PHILRECA was organized on 01 July 1979 as a non-stock, non-profit, non-political organization registered both with the National Electrification Administration (NEA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
