Phile lets groups of people with a common passion gather and organize knowledge into a useful structured website. In spirit, it’s like a wiki, but it feels quite different: more social and interactive, and with a structure that can be highly tailored to fit the interests of a group. Phile can be used to create a "Yelp for obscure soda" or an "IMDB for comic books" or a guide to the best children's literature just by dragging and dropping. We’re hoping it will empower all sorts of niche interest groups to share information and opinions in a way that normally requires a custom-engineered website.
