The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate honor society that recognizes primarily first and second year students for doing well academically early in college. The Society was founded in 1994 on the campus of The George Washington University. Since the beginning, NSCS has grown to support a network of over a million and a half lifetime members from nearly 300 college chapters across the United States.
Members of NSCS have exclusive access to tools and resources to help them continue to excel in college and beyond. These benefits include scholarships, internship and study abroad opportunities, online content like webinars with expert advice on topics like financial literacy and public speaking, deals and discounts with partnered companies, and the chance to connect with a network of fellow scholars both on campus and nationwide.
NSCS is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, meaning that all of the money members put into NSCS goes directly back into benefits for our members. NSCS is also certified by the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS), the only certifying body for college honor societies in the United States.
