Pharma-Rex Inc. was incorporated on March 25, 2010 with the primary purpose of importing, manufacturing, wholesaling and trading of ethical and OTC pharmaceutical products. Its long-term goal is to provide affordable quality medicines to the Filipino. The first step it took was the acquisition of the well-established trademark “CORTAL” from GlaxoSmithKline Philippines Inc. It intends to bring this product even to areas not typically served by the big distributors. It will start the process by engaging the services of reputable partners in the industry. From here, Pharma-Rex proposes to expand its product offerings to include the more essential medicine requirements of the masses, whilst creating strategic partnerships with other pharmaceutical companies to build brands that deliver superior value to consumers and patients. Pharma-Rex Inc. intends to be a major player, a King (“Rex”), in the pharmaceutical business in the Philippines by challenging industry leaders with highly differentiated, high-value brands, and with a highly-capable team with consumer/patient-centric orientation.
