Patti Richards currently specializes in children's stories of all shapes and sizes. Most of her story subjects are drawn from the hilarity of everyday life, her love of all creatures furry and wild and her tough and crazy southern ancestors. Patti is a member of SCBWi and enjoys all genres of children’s literature. She likes to write with rhythm and rhyme because there's always a song in her head. One of her family's favorite games is to say a word and see if she can think of a song to go with it. Since she's an old movie and musical buff, they rarely stump her!
