PGSI today is an acronym for "Pelma Greater Structured Initiative". "Pelma" being the reference to the former white owned group of companies and "Greater Structured Initiative" being reference to the past and present black shareholders and board members. The transformation of the former Pelma Group commenced during 1996 and grew to maturity with the establishment in 2005 of a new Black Equity Owned company named PGSI Group (Pty) Ltd. During 2013 Mrs Sibongile Nyembe (Bongi) became the new shareholder/Director in PGSI Group (Pty) Ltd. Bongi holds a Bachelor Degree in Theology (Impact Bible College USA), Diploma in Contact Centre and Operations Management (Damelin) and Diploma in Secretarial Services (Damelin). She has an impeccable record as a former employee of the Unilever Group SA, Transactional Executive Council and the South African Financial Services Board. Bongi is also the owner of Ebuhleni Tours (Pty) Ltd and Ebuhleni Fashion Design for the past 8 years. She has extensive management experience acquired through the years. Steven Nyembe joins PGSI as a Director with extensive experience in the Chemical Industries as a Chemist and Cosmetic Scientist. Steven holds a B.Sc. Chem (UNISA), Diploma in Cosmetic Science (Coschem SA), B. Tech Business Administration and Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (UJ) as well as a Bachelor Degree in Theology (Impact Bible College (USA) . teven has management experience acquired through his companies Bonstev Consulting and Projects (Pty) Ltd, Vegasbok Cleaners (Pty) Ltd and a co-founder of Pathways of Purpose potential development Centre (Pty) Ltd. Steven is a registered Constituent Assessor and Facilitator with various Sector Educational Training Agencies (SETAs).
