In 1912 local town Councilor A R Thorogood opened a real estate agency in Victoria Park assisting many couples with the purchase of their first homes in the area. His name lives on today with Thorogood Street in Burswood honouring his contribution to the development of the region. In 1989 Peter Fletcher bought into the firm taking full ownership and in 1995 changed its trading name to Peter Fletcher Realty. Shortly after this Jay Wood joined Peter as a partner. Peter has since left the company. In 2006, Jay Wood and new Director, Joe Mucci continued Thorogood’s passion for people and property. In 2015 Jay stepped back as Director, staying on as Senior Sales & Marketing Consultant. Joe is joined by Andrew Paterson as Licensee/Director and Davide Palermo as Director. August 2015 also saw the introduction of Property Management with Fiona Whitecross adding her 10 plus years to the many years of combined experience in the office.
