Peter Lougheed Leadership College Information

Peter Lougheed Leadership College (PLLC) mobilizes the online classroom as a leadership lab where students are inspired to take action on their own leadership journeys. PLLC offers experiential undergraduate classes ranging from first to fourth-year courses in leadership and a Certificate in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies. Opportunities for the public are also available through guest lectures. The Origins of PLLC The PLLC was created in honour of the legacy of Peter Lougheed. Peter Lougheed was an active student of the University of Alberta, participating in many campus events with various organizations. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1951 and a law degree in 1952, he was eventually elected the 10th Premier of Alberta in 1971. Peter Lougheed's passion for elevating his community and leading positive change inspire our program.
