Founded in 1986 by Darrel Newman, whom after many years as an agronomic trainer and manager for two of the nations leading lawn care companies, realized that in order to provide the level of service that he could be proud of, he would need to start his own company. Personal Preference takes pride in having long term relationships with each and every customer. Children of their customers are now buying their first homes and are having Personal Preference help maintain them. Even though our roots started in the agricultural profession, our "crop" has always been service. And just like a good farmer we never stop working to improve our crop. In 2004, Personal Preference started developing its Handyman and Clean Team Services offering these services to their commercial accounts, the goal being to one day offer these services to there residential customers also.
