Permoseal was the first company to launch Cold Glue to the South African market in 1954 and in 1963 Permoseal concluded a licensing agreement with Ebnother of Switzerland to begin local manufacturing. Ongoing research and development is always a top priority, and has resulted in the regular launch of new products in both the industrial and consumer markets. Permoseal was the first chemical company in Africa to be awarded the coveted ISO 9001 quality management system accreditation.
