Perlon was founded in Frankfurt and is now based in Berlin. It is run by Zip, Markus Nikolai and Chris Rehberger. Mixmag A vinyl-only label founded in Frankfurt back in 1997 by Markus Nikolai Thomas Franzmann aka Zip and Chris Rehberger, Perlon is without question one of the genre defining labels and an expert in minimal techno and microhouse. Over the years it’s carved out a reputation as one of the most well-respected and sophisticated labels in the game through impeccable releases from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Baby Ford, Margaret Dygas, Luciano and the label boss Zip.
