Performers for Progress is a student-run program for that puts on performing arts showcases. Ticket sales from each of these showcases funds a different charitable organization. At each Performers for Progress chapter, two student leaders (called co-chairs or co-producers), lead the program each year. These students are usually high school seniors and they are responsible for producing shows that feature a talented selection of their peers. The program has the dual benefit of giving students an outlet to share their abilities in the visual and performing arts while simultaneously aiding humanitarian organizations in and beyond their community.
