Fabrica is a research centre for contemporary communication established in 1994 from a vision of Luciano Benetton and Oliviero Toscani. With a renaissance-inspired, learning-by-doing approach, Fabrica offers artist-in-residence programs of one year to creative talents under 25 who develop, led by experts, projects in the fields of photography, design, editorial, digital, video and music. Words + Pictures, founded by Connor Schell and Chernin Entertainment in 2021, is a production studio with a mission to produce high-end, culturally relevant nonfiction content. The Words + Pictures team is led by the creators and producers of the groundbreaking “30 for 30” series, The Last Dance, and the 2017 Academy Award-winning O.J.: Made in America. The films and series collectively produced by our team have premiered at the top film festivals in the world, from Sundance to Toronto to Cannes, and have earned the most prestigious honors in media and entertainment – Academy Awards, Peabodys, Emmys, BAFTAs, and more. Along the way, we’ve served as creative production partners and offered strategic guidance to some of the best nonfiction storytellers in the industry. In a golden age of content, the possibilities that words and pictures on screen embody have never been more exciting, and never more impactful.
