Engineering disciplines include Structural, process, civil, control systems, electrical, mechanical, plant design, project, and architecture. Perdis Ruz’s Project Management Group ties together all activities on a project. A project may be well conceived and adequately financed, the contracts may be carefully drawn up, the contractors may be specialists, and consultants may be highly experienced. But if the efforts of all the participants are not expertly coordinated and skilfully managed, the project may overrun the budget, fail to meet the schedule, or fall short in technical quality. The larger and more complex the project, the more critical is this overall management function.
