Training of personnel for application of speciality products(e.g. texture plasters) is performed at the factory. An extensive colour range is available for most products, where a very large selection of accessories are sold. The company has much more than the well-known shop and it has a history that dates back more than four decades. It has its own factory at Aris, 30km south of Windhoek. Peralin(Pty) Ltd was established in 1962. White marble, quarried on a nearby farm, served as the raw material for the production of roughcast(PeraShine) and Terrazzo. The decorative product line was started in 1970 with a cement additive (PeraFix), a texture coating (PeraRoll) and roof coating (PeraRoof). In the following years, a broad range of PVA and Enamel paints as well as textured plasters were added to the product line. Peralin Paints has stopped manufacturing enamel paints as of 2007. Today Peralin Paints is the leading manufacturer of quality texture coatings and plasters within Namibia and specializes on Special coatings. Through ongoing upgrading of existing products and development of new products by incorporating latest technologies and high raw materials, Peralin Paints focuses on quality at affordable prices. All products are developed at Peralin Paints' fully equipped development laboratory, for superior performance under sub-Saharan climatic conditions.
