Penfield School (PS) was established in 2008. It is a wholly Ghanaian owned private Christian school. It is co-educational, mainly boarding and operates a hybrid system of education, i.e. combining the Ghanaian and the British Curricula. Penfield is situated in a secure and serene environment at the East- end of Accra, the capital of Ghana. The location is very conducive for teaching and learning. The Mission of PS is to offer a Christian-Oriented, Holistic Education based on a challenging curriculum meant to ensure that students grow to be confident, well-rounded, socially mature and articulate. The school runs a three - term year. Each term covers a period of 12 to 14 weeks. It currently operates 34 classrooms, 5 laboratories, a staff common room, 8 offices for heads of departments and an administration block. Penfield welcomes applicants from around the world regardless of ethnicity, colour, religion or gender. We provide students an enabling environment where the desire to explore is rewarded.
