PEI Mutual Insurance Company Information

PEI Mutual Insurance Company is part of our Island community. Our head office with 30 employees is located in Summerside, our 16 agents live throughout the Island and make house calls to explain our policies. Our Board of Directors is elected from 9 zones across PEI and is responsible for corporate policy. Our locally produced policies (residential, farm, fishing boats, commercial) are competitively priced and policyholders enjoy mutual rebates whenever profits warrant. Our claims are all processed locally under the guidance of Josh Toombs, our Claims Manager. We support many local charities, including our local hospitals, United Way of PEI, Provincial Games and Special Olympics. We promote fire safety with our own Safety Survey program led by Gary Bryson. Through our PEI Mutual Educational Trust we provide twenty scholarships annually to Island students. Blair Campbell, our General Manager, & Rudy Smith, our Treasurer, maintain our investment portfolio, investing locally whenever prudent.
